  • The Africa Travel Show 2015 – Nairobi, Kenya.

    The Africa Travel Show 2015 is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 4th March 2015 to Sunday, 8th March 2015 at the Oshwal Centre, Nairobi.

    The show is Kenya’s largest free travel exhibition and is regarded by travelers as the place to plan and book their annual travel. People attend our shows not only to gather information on new destinations and places to visit, they actually seek out and book trips whilst they are there.

    The Africa Travel Show 2015 is a well known and respected source of revenue for the industry, and simply put…”people attend and spend”. Companies have the opportunity to increase their brand awareness with an active group who are serious about and consistently traveling throughout Africa and beyond.

    The Event will showcase Kenya’s Tourism and Exhibitors from far and wide have been invited, thereby qualifying the Event continentally as The Africa Travel Show 2015’.

  • Event Venue – The Oshwal Centre

    Situated just a few minutes away from the busy Westlands Commercial District of Nairobi, stands the Oshwal Centre.

    Magnificent, superb, stately, state the art… such are the words that are used to describe the Oshwal Centre by visitors. One just wonders how such a huge, yet so tranquil, place has been built in the busy metropolis of Nairobi.

    It has ample cark parking facilities with adequate security all over the complex. On any given day, the Centre can accommodate up to 4000 people easily if all facilities are made available. This makes it one of the largest such facilities right in the heart of Nairobi.

    The Oshwal Centre is an ideal location for Exhibitions, Workshops, Talks, Trade-fairs, Seminars, Plays and concerts and sporting activities.

    Exhibitors at the show are primarily travel-related companies; Tourist Boards and Regional Areas, Travel Tour Operators, Travel Insurance Companies, Travel & Booking Agents, Flight Booking Agents, Travel Equipment Providers, Travel Transport Providers, Educational Travel and Independent Travel.

Marketing-PlanMarketing is an important tool for this Event to be publicised far and wide, for 200+ exhibitors.

We are targeting an attendee participation of approximately 20,000 people.

Marketing will be carried out by way of Newspaper and Radio Advertisements; Bill Boards, Street Banners and Posters in strategic locations; Email campaigns to various corporate organisations, communities and societies; and the Social Media.

    An Event Catalog will be given to all attendees of the Event, which will showcase all participating Exhibitors and will include the Exhibiting Company’s:

    1. Name and Logo;
    2. Brief of their work (maximum of 250 words); and
    3. Contact details (Telephone, Email, Website, Skype, Facebook, Twitter)

    Event Judging

    There will be exciting awards for various categories which will be communicated to the Exhibitors closer to the Event. The Judging Criteria will also be released in due course.

  • The Opening Ceremony

    The Opening Ceremony for the Event will be held on Wednesday, 4th March 2015 from 6pm to 10pm at the Oshwal Centre.

    The Event is scheduled to kick start with a cocktail canapé evening, where all the Exhibitors will be given an opportunity to network with all who are invited.

    The evening will progress with some sensational entertainment and the award winners for the Event will also be rewarded prior to the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

    The dignitaries and invited guests will then be taken around to all the Exhibitor Stands and this will mark the Event officially opened!
